The Desert Pain Management Center offers three distinct and comprehensive medical weight loss program options which are customized by our weight loss doctors depending on your needs and goals. All weight loss programs are medically supervised by highly qualified weight loss doctors and focus on both the physical and behavioral aspects of the weight loss process. HOW TO START YOUR PLAN NOW:

 
 

1. Schedule your consultation.

2. Meet the doctor and staff.

Get to know who you'll be working with over the next several weeks. A few simple tests will determine your individual needs for the program

 
 

3. Find the plan that's right for you.

After your evaluation, your doctor will recommend a particular plan for you, and work with you to customize it based on your needs.

 
 

4. Start your personalized program!

Your doctor will provide all the tools you will need for success. You'll meet with your doctor weekly for support and to chart your progress.

 

 

 

Low Calorie Program

 

o There are several variations on this program; the standard program is based on your specific metabolism and is designed for rapid weight loss. Your doctor will determine your daily calorie allowance and provide you with a customized meal plan

 
 

 

 

Modified Program

 

This is a custom designed plan with many options. Based on a number of factors, you and your physician will decide on which modified program will fit your needs and how quickly you wish to reach your goals, and a program will then be designed especially for you.

 
 

 

 

Prescription Drug

 

These programs involve the use of FDA-approved prescription diet pills to curb the appetite and jump-start the weight loss process. The programs also include individualized counseling and exercise components.

 
 

 

 

Bariatric Surgery

 

Bariatric surgery is recommended for people who are at least 100 lbs overweight or with a Body Mass Index (BMI) over 40. The procedure involves surgical alterations to the stomach or small intestine so that significantly less food can be consumed.
